PROVINCIAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT OFFICE
The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office headed by a Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer responsible for setting the direction, development, implementation, and coordination of disaster risk reduction and management programs, and shall perform the following functions and those that may be authorized by the LDRRMC. Implements disaster risk reductions and management research and planning and development initiatives. Organizes and conducts trainings, orientations and knowledge management activities on disaster risk reductions and management in the Province. Undertakes operations and multi-hazard early warning system linked to disaster risk reductions. Enhances disaster risk reductions and management effectiveness by efficiently implementing disaster risk reductions and management and development programs of the Province in compliance with and in line to the provisions of R.A. No. 10121 and Joint MC No. 2014-1 of the NDRRMC, DILG, DBM and CSC. Conducts continuous disaster monitoring and evaluating its programs and services to ensure a continuous improvement and sustainability of its disaster risk reductions and management programs for the general welfare of the constituents.
