Cong. Amante awarded Outstanding Filipino Achiever in Public Service
MANILA – Marking a priceless milestone as a public servant, Congressman Erlpe John “Ping” M. Amante was awarded 2014 Outstanding Filipino Achiever in Public Service by the Golden Globe Awards for Business Excellence last September 27, 2014 at Manila Hotel, Manila City.
Through this award, Cong. Amante joins the ranks of respected Filipinos recognized to have exceptional achievements in various crafts and fields, as well as top-notch companies from all over the country that have exemplified excellence in business and marketing.
Gov. Angel ensures nutrition of children in the province
Provincial Governor Ma. Angelica Rosedell “Angel” M. Amante-Matba gave importance to nutrition of children ages 3-4 years old enrolled in Day Care Centers of the province as fulfillment of her thrust in the delivery of public service to the most needy.
Gov. Angel forged partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Field Office XIII and the municipal government of Tubay to implement the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) first in Tubay for children ages 3-4 years old.
Agnor launches Vet’s Day Program
With the concept of providing a more efficient and effective delivery of veterinary services with utmost accessibility to the people of Agusan del Norte, the Provincial Government of Agusan del Norte launches the Vet’s Day Program in the province this month of July 2014.
“Under this program, a veterinarian will be on duty in a certain municipality of the province in a scheduled day of a week providing free veterinary services,” Dr. Belen M. Aruelo, the Provincial Veterinarian, explained. Last July 2, 2014, one of the veterinarians of the Provincial Veterinary Office, Dr. Joseph P. Dargantes, started his duty in the Municipality of Nasipit. Under the Vet’s Day Program, he will be detailed in this municipality taking office temporarily in the Municipal Information Center (MIC) Office near the Nasipit Municipal Hall.
