Social Services and Number of Persons Served

Basic social services extended by the province to its constituents are ISDAP, medical assistance, AICS, burial assistance for PWDs, burial assistance for SCs, assistive devices for PWDs (wheelchair, crutches and cane), medical assistance for for BHWs/BNS, burial assistance to BHws/BNS, assistance to victims of disaster, medicines for walk-in clients, food assistance for walk-in clients and sagip sa kalusugan sa barangay to include medical, dental, tuli and random blood sugar. Total amount involved in the implementation of these services amounted to Php 4,697,720.93 serving 12,981 persons.

In 2010, number of preschoolers weighed totaled to 7,275.  Out from this number, 51.31% are boys while 48.69% are girls.  A little over eighty nine percent (89.72%) have normal weghts,   8.85% are underweight; 0.99% are severely underweight and 0.44% are overweight.
