As of July 31, 2010, number of pre-schools in Agusan del Norte are 187 in public and 15 in private; in public elementary there was an increase of 2.17% from 184 schools in 2006 to 188 schools in 2010 and 25% in private schools from 12 in 2006 to 15 in 2010. Since 2006, numbers of secondary schools in public has increased by 30% and 11.76% in private with 48 and 19 schools respectively as of July 31, 2010.
