Livestock Slaughtered in Abattoirs
An abattoir is a facility where animals are killed for consumption as food products. Slaughtered livestock in the province are carabao, cattle, goat and swine totaling to 75,753 in 2009. The highest number of livestock slaughtered from 2005 to 2009 was in 2007 with 76,293 or 0.71%.
Chicken Dressed in Dressing Plants
Based on Table Table IV-16, total number of dressed chicken from 2005-2009 was 17,413,960. The highest number was in 2007 with 4,041,278 or 23%. The least number was in 2005 with only 2,771,327 or 16%.
