P4.8M projects to be implemented
The provincial government of Agusan del Norte will implement various priority programs and projects amounting to P4,892,000.00 based on the endorsement by the Provincial Development Council (PDC) Executive Committee to the SangguniangPanlalawigan.
The SangguniangPanlalawigan recently approved the recommendation of the PDC considering the importance and significance of the projects for immediate implementation, which are essential in the delivery of basic services and facilities of the province.

1st AgusandelNorte Women's Assembly a success
The provincial government of Agusan del Norte through the efforts of Provincial Board Member Elizabeth Marie R. Calo with the cooperation of the Provincial Social Welfare Population Nutrition and Services Office (PSWPNSO), conducted successfully the 1st Agusan del Norte Women's Assembly, in celebration of the 2016 Women's Month with the theme :AngKaayohanniJuana,I-apilsaAdyenda" on March 16, 2016 at the Provincial Training Center, Capitol, Butuan City.
“Focus to be free from insurgency” – Gov. Amante-Matba
Provincial Governor Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante-Matba stressed during the Joint MOA Signing on March 14, 2016 declaring Butuan City and AgusandelNorte as Conflict Manageable and Ready for Further Development, that the government is doing its best to give the best service to the public. "We are glad that we have reached several remote areas to provide our services and programs. The next step and goal that we must focus on is to be free from conflicts and insurgency. There is more to be done and we will continue to work together," she said.
